I know I hated the trade, Drouin is going to be a soft 50 point winger PP specialist. As far as the pick I see the habs drafting at least in the top 5 which means they will get a better player than Serg.

As a Hab fan, I don't want a Marchand style player on my team. I know he's learned to score, but to me he's still a piece of trash. The kind of guy the league would be better without.

Like I said, remains to be seen. Prospects bust, things happen. Entirely possible Sergachev is just having a good season. But Sergachev looks pretty damn legit, especially live.

Anyways Marchand is an All world player, one of the best LW in the league, scorer, power play and excellent PK guy, yeah they do not want that.

Habs have nothing they can offer to get Marchand away from the Bruins and Bergeron. Together those 2 have 17 pts in the last 4 games together and counting.

Most teams, when moving older players, want to acquire younger players with potential. Not trade them for equally aged, similar value, players. Bruins don't need a shake up.

What the Bruins are doing seems to be working, so there's really no reason here.
