You think so? I mean, I've never seen any of these guys play, so I'm just going off of scouting reports. The last time I looked, his defense behind the plate was below average. I know that his arm is really good.

Yup he's improved. He has played outfield in AAA (50-50 split or thereabouts) this year but it's because of Perez and Gomes and they were trying to get his bat in the lineup.

I think I remember that they tried him at third during spring training, but it didn't go so well.

Good trade for both teams, I guess. Thrilled to get Hand but not to give up Meija, which means it's fair.
