Ideally, we keep the team intact minus Stalberg and Frolik and Handzus for cap reasons. Insert Danault in his spot, hope he is ready, advanced all around guy, probably could do it, best replacement for Frolik I see. Pirri comes in as 2C.

Bickell-Toews-Kane
Sharp-Pirri-Hossa
Saad-Bolland-Shaw
Danault-Kruger-Morin
Carcillo, Hayes

Cheap, deep, speed, size and tons of skill, loaded with two way goal scorers.

I like where you're going, but that is an awfully young roster.

that's about the price Bickell should get and deserves.

this won't happen and this roster is not improved in 2 areas. Still no PP QB and still no Top6 Center option behind Toews

Stan to Q - Hey Q, the value of 29 is starting to get out of hand, how about you limit his ice time and break up 29-19-88 in the SCF to bring that contract back down to earth?

Welcome to the salary cap era. Tell Stan to draft better if you want to improve the hockey team.

Or tell Q to play Sharp at 2C. You know the position he played when they won the Cup.

What has the Chicago Blackhawks 2010 NHL Draft produced?

Way to skip over 2011 and 2012...

As for 2010, 19 total players outside of the 1st round have played at least 1 game in the NHL. 4 have played more than 30 NHL games. Our 1st round pick is still in College.

Our 2nd round pick is arguably one of our best D prospects.

Bickell flaming out in Finals has made this a non-issue

He wont be winning MVP so no need to worry about appeasing fans

If Bickell isn't affordable then Hawks let him walk

Bickell is welcome to come back but he is playing his contract back down to reasonable levels. He was overachieving earlier in the playoffs and it wasn't a fair representation of the actual production he can be depended on.

If he starts asking for 3m+ a year, he can go rip off some other team. Cap space is worth too much to give that to someone who has never even managed 20 goals.

I don't know if I agree...I think this series has shown that the Hawks really can't afford to lose any more size from the roster.

that's why you have 2 million Cap Space and still Bolland on the Roster? Your Roster has no changes and this won't happen, guaranteed.

Stans drafting has been fine, no doubt

Coach Q would rather play Brendan Morrison and Michal Handzus than Brandon Pirri.

I'd play this years Handzus over Pirri too... last years Morrison hasn't even played that much and we basically gave up nothing to get him
