Win here and we're still taking 2 out of every 3... right?

If you ignore that we won 1 out of the 3 before...

The games in Canada this month pretty much ended playoff hopes. 0-2-1 against Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto is beyond embarrassing. Even granted that Ottawa is hot now.

Last night's game was that game. It was a 16% swing on sportsclubstats. Win and we move up to 30%. Lose and we move down to 14%.

Well, we lost.

It's time to sell.

Their playoff hopes didn't die. Their hopes of being close enough to the playoffs on Monday to justify not selling died.

I have a feeling that they are getting crushed tonight. The last two games they looked like crap. Weren't skating and seemed way off. You can keep it close with Philly and Toronto playing that way, but not Boston.

Also, the Boston dads are in town. I believe this is now the 5th game where we've had the dads in tow and I believe we are 0-4 so far in those games.

Forgot I won't be home to watch this one, going to support a friend proposing to his GF.

That's generally not considered a spectator sport, is it?

And do we have anybody playing tonight? I'm guessing Faulk is out. Nestrasil is clearly out. And the decisiveness with which they ruled out McClement last night makes me think he's not exactly day-to-day. Plus, some of our eight UFAs may start getting scratched as trades are discussed. Anyone up today from Charlotte?

Not yet. I think they would have to IR somebody to call someone up.

Lose this one and the trades start. RF will no longer have to feel like he was cheating the guys out of their chance. He gave them their chance, and they did it themselves.
