Chucky, and 3rd overall for Pastrnak and DeBrusk.
Is it too many pennies ( Habs) for a dollar? What needs to go either way...

Boston gets depth. Montreal gets elite assets..
Lock er up, these two teams won't trade with each other even if it was a swap of 6th rounders, let alone make a ridiculously huge splash like this.
Yep, totally unrealistic.
I'm trying to come up with a deal that works for both
Stop trying.I'm trying to come up with a deal that works for both
Why would Boston give elite assets to Montreal, their biggest rival, especially for depth? Montreal make out like bandits in this proposal.Boston gets depth. Montreal gets elite assets..

Pasta for 3rd overall would make sense for both teams
Krejci for 3rd overall.Pasta for 3rd overall would make sense for both teams

Montreal gets a center. Makes sense for both teams.
By giving up 2 players and getting back 2 assets?
Carlo is a longterm top4RD for Bruins, DeBrusk a longterm top6 Lw.
In what World?
Of course it doesn't make sense for Montreal. It was a tongue-in-cheek response to the poster saying Pastrnak for 3rd overall makes sense for the Bruins.Habs want to get younger not older. Not the type of trade we want to make. Sorry.
My proposal was also a tongue in cheek response to the OP.Of course it doesn't make sense for Montreal. It was a tongue-in-cheek response to the poster saying Pastrnak for 3rd overall makes sense for the Bruins.
