He REALLY lost his fastball the last 2 years.

Definitely had his hand in it and one of his buddies and guy's he was mentoring Mike Pettine was the cordinator and they didn't do so hot.

Tyrod Taylor with Greg Roman had an MVP caliber year though on a team with no defense.

Seems like he's being hired due to familiarity instead of merit. Spagnuolo has been the coordinator for some of the worst defenses ever over the couple of gigs he got in St. Louis and New Orleans.

Maybe he's learned from those ventures and is fresh and ready to go. The Superbowl depends on it if he is the guy they hire.

I remember being amped up when the Saints hired him. We'll see, he never came close to the heights like when they beat the Patriots and Packers.
