Yeah it is I don't like it either. On mobile where 80% of my postings come from It's alright. I don't like the desktop version but I'm thankful for dark mode. Just like YouTube or Facebook we'll eventually get used to the changes.

Methinks the new site isn't THAT different visually. We're annoyed that we couldn't log in yesterday so it colors our impressions of the changes. I think in a few days it will seem normal to most of us and we basically won't even notice what changed.

I like dark mode on my phone only when the sun goes down, but dark mode for this site is much better than light mode any time of the day, so far.

For me, it’s easier to think of myself as being brand new to the website and this is the format. So be it.
