Oh well. I ain't even mad. Kind of a blah, up and down game. We didn't have the extra gear this afternoon. Tough breaks on the goals against.

Cant miss the net on high scoring chances.

Still dont understand why Mac wants Legwand to take every important draw, he never wins them.

Ugh, I like Maclean a lot for the things he's done for the team with respect to previous coaches but...

PULL THE KEEPER, WALRUS!

We probably could have scored with the extra skater. We had the momentum and already scored two goals with the man advantage.

Bobby Ryan needed to score on that play earlier! That was perfect

Like Ceci earlier in the game, Sens need to be more opportunistic

yashin has tainted the senators management forever.. i do have a soft spot for russian players, but i can't in good conscience knock the move to swedes

Ya, always forget about Yashin... that sure didn't help

BM did when he signed him for 4 million.

Average salary in the NHL is now about 3M$ per year... Not sure 1M$ more is that high expectations...

I'd rather give Alfredsson a 1 year at 4mil, with him not playing, then Michalek @ 4 x 3. Never use a multi year deal on a 4th liner just to get to the cap floor.

Dumb GMing.

Ok so now Michalek is a 4th liner :shakehead

The guys has scored 25 goals per 82 games for the Sens since he joined the team 5 years ago.

How can no one hit the net? Also Mac and Turris were invisible tonight

Whereas I agree that his line management could be better, he hardly lost us the game.

Agreed but couple of times this year we trailed by 1 and we don't have the proper players on the ice it's frustrating we run around in our zone and kill minutes like that. Hoffman killed 45 seconds by himself too

He couldn't. We lost a faceoff, got pressured in our zone, they had a strong forecheck. Instant goal if you pull him during any stretch of that last minute.

Lehner really let us down this game

He had zero chance on Tarasenko's goal and Sten's. where he didn't see anything. He's responsible for the first goal and aside from that he made a throng of good saves.

Not his fault at all.

Not his fault at all.

He also robbed Tarasenko a couple times afterwards

5 shots in the 3rd period.

That's when we are down a goal. Absolutely terrible.

We need Lazar back badly. Stone and Hoffman look better with him and our record is awful with Greening in.

Speaking of, he's useless. Backes punches him in the face repeatedly and he does nothing. Just waive him.

This year MacLean is sticking with whichever goalie seems hot.

I expect we'll see Anderson next and if he gets hot he stays in
until he loses a game or two.

Let's hope he won't be so anxious to roam out of his net in the next game.

Meh-we could have been better but I think the result is right where I expected it to be.

We are still developing, St.Louis is further along in experience.

I'd take a win but were just not up there yet and I can't fault the effort.

Even I was kicking myself watching.........damn hit the crest..damn missed wide......damned if you do damned if you don't.
