Teuvo was on the ice today against Swiss team EV Zug in a European Trophy game (a preseason game). He had 2 assist, both on PP and one golden opportunity (also on PP) that didn't capitalize.

1st assist @ 1:43, missed opportunity @ 2:04, 2nd (secondary) assist @ 2:18.

Teuvo is #86.

He played as 2nd line Center today.

I still think he plays in Finland this year. Hawks probably wanted to lock him up just so there was zero threat of losing him. Not sure what their plan is though. Wasnt there an interview on NHL 36 or something that said they wanted to sign a talented 18 year old and bring him over?

Maybe they are planning on him making the team as our #2C, but I doubt it.

He was also invisible on 5 vs 5 play.

Wicked. Seems like management is following the same timeline they did with Kruger.

Kruger was 19 when he was drafted. Teuvo was 18 (pretty much). Teravainen will be coming over a year earlier than Kruger did when he crosses the pond next summer.

Roughly the same. Signed, spend two years in Euro, come over after the season. Hopefully people will be more patient with the learning curve this time around.
