The Binghamton Senators announced today they have agreed to a professional tryout agreement with forward Todd Bertuzzi. Bertuzzi is scheduled to report to Binghamton on Monday, January 12.

This is a signing by Bingo, not Ottawa, so it's probably Dorion who did most of the legwork on this?

You can't just run 9 under-22's in your top 3 lines in the AHL. The best developmental systems in the AHL are a healthy blend of kids & vets.

A depth signing for our AHL team. If he can help the kids learn the game and improve their chances of becoming NHL players then good move by Murray.

He's not grasping at anything.

It's a completely harmless move.

It's a PTO. Means essentially nothing except we are giving bertuzzi a building ice rink and practice jersey to play hockey in.
