Need to be better in the 3rd. Cant get outshot like that.

This^^^^^ If they play like they did in the 3rd with a lead, they're getting bounced with ease in the 1st round. I don't get why this team sits back on a lead, its 4-1? F_ck it, try to make it 5-1, get greedy, and don't play down to opposition.

the only goal they gave up in the 3rd was when they did get greedy and Boston came back the other way. Most teams play fairly safe with a 3 goal lead, nothing wrong with that

The Leafs were on their heels the majority of the period, lets just cut the BS lol! Their saving grace was Soup was in net, and also the Bruins did hit a post in the 3rd... you can't play like that and expect good results 9 times out of 10.

Other than that? The Leafs played a solid game, and it really did feel like a playoff atmosphere with the fans getting right into it... man I've missed those days.

The 3rd period, Bruins was just forechecking and Dman jumping in like crazy. If anything, they Leafs need to learn to break out of the zone better and create more odd man rushes.
Also, what the Bruins did in the 3rd after being down 4-1 is what all teams should be doing with 11mins left and down by 3 goals. The Leafs did that against TB, the only diff is TB found ways to sustain the pressure and create odd man rushes, that’s something the Leafs needs to learn from the Champs.

Maybe try the stretch passes when the opponent is going allin with the offense, trying to get back in it.

Best game I've watched this season. Bruins don't feel the same without Rask/Chara etc. It's been a while since we've seen them.

You should read up on score effects.

The Bruins are depleted with the losses of Kreji/Rask (I won't include Chara because he's been gone for 2 years now), and their Blueline is the dogs breakfast! Their saving grace is that their core is still in their primes and that alone should be enough to catapult them to a spot, I don't see them going deep however...

I still think the JT signing wasn't the best one, you just don't shell out $11 million to second line players,

Center points ranks:

Since signing (last 4 seasons):

1. McDavid 340
2. Draisaitl 322
3. Mackinnon 267
4. Barkov 228
5. Matthews 227
6. Scheifele 223
7. Aho 217
8. Point 213
9. Tavares 210
10. Crosby 209

Last 3yrs

1. McDavid 224
2. Draisaitl 217
3. Mackinnon 168
4. Matthews 154
5. Scheifele 139
6. Zibanejad 135
7. Aho 134
8. Barkov 132
9. Kopitar 126
10. Tavares 122

Last 2yrs

1. McDavid 127
2. Draisaitl 107
3. Mackinnon 75
4. Matthews 74
5. Barkov 70
6. Aho 68
7. Scheifele 66
8. Kopitar 64
9. Crosby 62
10. Tavares 62

This year:

1. Draisaitl 23
2. McDavid 22
3. Kopitar 14
4. Stamkos 14
5. RNH 14
6. Lindholm 14
7. Kuznetsov 13
T-8. Tavares 12 (8-way Tie)

Including Draisaitl as a C is generous too.
