We saw earlier this year what the Oilers look like with a injured Mcdavid. They would be a basement team without the big 2. Toronto would suck too but I don't think they would be a bottom 5 team like the Oilers.

You could pretty much do this to almost any team in the league and they would suck. So....

Virtually all of the games Draisaitl missed in this calculation would be in his rookie year (45/63 games). The only current Oiler who played on the team that year is Nugent Hopkins. For McDavid it was 37 of 53 games in his rookie year. This time the only two players were Nugent-Hopkins and a rookie Nurse. So maybe these stats are not quite as relevant to the discussion as it may seem.
