Kane isn’t even PPG in the playoffs.
The answer is Kucherov.
It’s not THAT different. And you say this as if their careers haven’t overlapped at all lol.Kane AINEC. Being able score goals in clutch situations >>> accumulating PP assists in round 1
Kane spent most of his playoff career seasons in a lower scoring era.

Scoring averages are up because Kucherov scores so muchYeah but when was the last time the hawks were In the yoffs? Scoring has exploded the last few years
There's been a rising increasing legitimate difference. You had avg goaltending peaks in .915 in the 2008-18 era where its dropped more to 9.06-9.08 ranges lately. The peak early 10s had multiple playoff goalies go at 9.40, I know Vasilevsky had his near that year, but its been far lower now. Kane won the conn Smythe against a goalie who hit .940 in a losing effort. It’s not THAT different. And you say this as if their careers haven’t overlapped at all lol.
Kane is my favourite non-habs player but I have to go with Kucherov here but it's close
Kucherov is great in the first round and will get you into the 2nd round
- 11 points in 6 games vs Florida in 2021
- 10 points in 5 games vs NJD in 2018
He's a bit slower (still consistent) in the later rounds but can still turn it on like his 10 points in 6 games vs NYI in the conference finals in 2021. Last 3 years in the playoffs he's had 34, 32 and 27 points...so 93 points in 71 games. That's exactly the kind of production you want from your best players.
Kane's most dominant playoff round was his 10 points in 7 games vs LA in the 2014 conference finals, but he does have a clutch factor to him which is why I went with the "it's close"
not even the best on his own teamKucherov is the best playoff performer in a long time - so him.
Kunitz>Crosby3 cups vs 2 cups.
That's an indictment to how good the Tampa Bay Lightning have been.not even the best on his own team
