The guy duck-winged his stick and flopped. Myers called him out on it immediately and then shoved him. I like the nastiness/passion.

Gorges was fine. Girgensons continues to be the brightest spot. Mitchell is doing his job as a versatile bottom six forward with jump.

I liked the forecheck at times, and we were really actually in the game for most of it. Wasn't the worst game of the year by any means.

Reinhart had his best game of the season IMO. Still not a whole lot happening offensively which is understandable given the quality of his linemates, but he seemed more engaged than he did in previous games. He's starting to get used to the speed of the NHL game.

I saw a tweet during the erie game that read "McDavid doing his best to be a healthy scratch for Ted Nolan next year". I laughed.

Anyway...the good all goes to Myers today. He's been so good. And I love that he had no tolerance for that ******** Vatanen was pulling. Refs throwing him out biggest joke of officiating so far.

Hindsight. I personally wanted gorges but knew it would be Gio, and I still think he's a good leader in the room.

He just doesn't have much left on the ice. It's too bad.
