This is likely due to my obsession with Senators goalies as a child. Oh the heartbreak.

Unfortunately, these weren't concepts unique to Ottawa. Tugnutt had the Splash with Pittsburgh:

I loved Sidorkiewicz/Billington, and then Damian's leaf one with the tower.

When Gerber was rocking the plain black (which I hated tbh), he had a very nice painted one that that I liked:
