Russian_fanatic said:Bourdon, and Staal where 2a, and 2b.
Bourdon does own more potential, and was the best Canadian defenseman in the u18's.
Patty Ice XXX said:Vyacheslav Buravchikov could be one of the top offensive dmen to come out of the draft. Definitely, one of the better ones coming into it.

Legionnaire said:I just don't see if from Bourdon. He's a pretty slow thinker out there..I still stick with my comparison of Dan McGillis.
Matt MacInnis said:Maybe. But the fact remains that he produced pretty okay numbers. He is overall better (projection wise) than McGillis, and has the tools to become an accompanying player on a top D pairing down the road.
Matt MacInnis said:Both guys are easy to fall in love with for different reasons. Staal has the bloodlines factor which NHL teams love. Bourdon has the work ethic/commitment to his team that makes his "want" factor very high to many scouts. Of course, they're 18 yr old defencemen, so a great deal is going to change before they ever even play a professional game.
Legionnaire said:Okay, I know you need to elaborate a bit more, but to imply that Staal only has "bloodlines" is kind of silly. I know at what you are getting, but still....
