Best defensive pairing ever?

Nobody has mentioned the two guys who had something to do with Tony Esposito's early success, Pat Stapleton and Bill White. The Capitals also had a pretty good pair with Scott Stevens and Rod Langway.

Pronger and Neids played on seperate pairs for their cup run (not sure for how long, but definately in the finals). The Ducks wanted to the opposition to be up against either of them for 40-50 minutes a game, which worked really well.

Howe-Mccrimmon was such a solid pairing. Dunno if they'd be top 5 or top 10 all time, though.

If you put a gun to my head, I'd probably take Robinson-Savard.
