The Day After and to me its a level above everything else.

It wasn't just a level above. It was an entirely different universe because of the reaction it got. 100 million TV viewers for the initial broadcast. The hype before about there never having been anything like it was insane but paled in comparison to the reaction after. The whole nation was talking about it.
