This is a really nice tune. Stumbled onto Khruangbin on Spotify since they slipped it into my algorithm and I think their guitars add a nice compliment to Bridges' vocals. I'll definitely be checking out this EP.

Pitchfork gives Lana Del Rey their album of the year. Not completely surprised . It was a good album.

I didn’t really have a favourite this year - but enjoyed a lot of albums - Faye Webster I thought was really good - great voice. The new Angel Olsen album I thought as mostly good, the standout tracks really standout. And “Chance” by Angel Olsen is probably my song of the year .

Weyes Blood also had a great album. Those would be my top 4 , in no order.

It was a great year for women artists.

I haven’t listened to the bulk of these. Where do you find your music ?

Where’s the top 10 already? ;)

My favorite place for all things music is Steve Hoffman music forums, it's like HF on steroids.
https://forums.stevehoffman.tv/

I'm counting down the top 10:)
I occassionally use this place as a resource as well, and I could be completely wrong, but for some reason, I haven't been able to shake the impression that it seems to be dominated by what feels like older guys who grew up in the 60s/70s and seem somewhat stuck in their traditional classic rock ways. It almost feels like there's an agreed upon Rolling Stones-esque tier list that everyone always go to first or something.

I'm surprised you use them for modern albums, actually.
