The Jets are 4 times the team of Calgary, but for some reason we always play like a steaming dog turd against the Flames but play well against the Jets.
That was a great game to win. Tight 1 goal games are going to be important. Since we can't win in overtime it's nice to see them close out a game and deal with the pressure

IF it were a full season, most likely wouldn't maintain his current sh% and would probably finish with around 30-35 goals.
Habs looked dangerous all night, Price was Price, strong game by the whole team. Not sure what team will show up but this team..why can't they play like this every night?

No he isn't. But he's playing well nonetheless. I had him No7 on my list. And I said at the draft that we HAD to pick him. What did you say? Only in your world is saying that he's not a typical 3rd overall pick perceived negatively. But go on, try to pretend it is. That's about the only thing you have.

That would mean he’d only score 13-18 goals in the remaining 54 games though.
I think he’d end up around 40 with this kind of start to the season.

Ehlers didn’t like the rookie manhandling him all night. Romanov is a tank. Great win anderson and gallagher played hard tonight. As far as I’m concerned Gally is the true leader of this team. KK great game, Tiffoli being Tiffoli and I’ve been very hard on Suzuki’s speed lately but he had an extra jump in his step tonight. Had a solid game. Keep working on that speed nick! Nobody played bad and I love Byron on the team. His speed is effective.

Gallagher is so much more effective when he doesn't extend his shifts. The one thing I noticed tonight that we hadn't seen in quite some time is our players talking to each other as a line with the three players involved in the conversation. Both KK and Suxuki's lines were engaged that way. It's not surprising both Kids looked better they absolutely need that support.
Damn... I was too nervous to enjoy the game until Toffoli's empty netter. Hockey's supposed to be fun, no?
