If the Bruins were insane enough to strip Chara of the C and try to give it to Bergeron, I'd bet real money he wouldn't take it.

I'm sure guys have played through broken ribs before, it's had to have happened in the past at some point.

Still, that's just so bad ass. He wasn't great, but he also wasn't bad by any means and didn't hurt the team at all. He was actually more physical than many other Bruin players.

I don't care what the letters say on their chests, Bergeron is the captain in my eyes.

Habs fan here - I hate you guys

But I wish the best for Bergeron and hope he plays tonight. He's an incredible player and I love watching him play. Just wish he was in our colours instead so I didn't have to hate him.
