If Jarmo thought Smith was the best play maker since Crosby, no wonder he had to be talked into Fantilli.

An interesting watch.
My take-a-ways:
1) As my late mother might have said:"Jarmo is a cold fish". On a 1 to 10 scale of being personable rating him a 3 is a stretch.
2) Davidson is an expensive piece of excess baggage.
3) I wanted Jarmo to go and have Flynn or McRae appointed interim GM. I wouldn't appoint Flynn to be an asst GM of a lemonade stand. Total toady. I would expect Jarmo to hire this type.
4) You can tell that Fantilli has that great athlete's ego/confidence. But he's not an ass.
5) Pronorov seems to be a great dude.

Kool episode. CBJ got a good dude on and off the ice. No doubt they got the player I wanted outside of Bedard even if I had already convinced myself he would be in Anaheim and Leo would be on the team.
Pretty dope Gavin Brindley signed as a witness on Fantillis contract.

Names seem to be important to Guddy. At the STH event earlier this season with players at stations for signing, my best friend and he had a good laugh. She has an unusual first name, especially for her race, and he took the time to ask her to spell it before he signed her poster. Then he said it was a pretty name and she said “Thanks, my parents picked it out” which made him and Sillinger (who was seated next to him) both crack up.
