Man the Metlife turf claims another player, Jackson non-contact injury

It's a disgrace they're allowed to keep that turf

I don't mind a solid tank loss, but not when half the team gets injured. Mooney probably has a high ankle sprain. Jackson likely torn achilles which is terrible for him. Claypool and Reiff also injured and I'm probably missing others. f*** that Jets field.

The Bears are sitting on the #2 pick right now. The Bears need to lose these last 5 and then trade down for a big haul to a team needing a franchise QB. Even one win could drop them many spots and vastly affect their draft capital. 4 of the last 5 games are at home, though most opponents are tough teams.

The easiest game left is probably the Packers this Sunday, especially with Rodgers being questionable. Also the finale against the Vikings will likely be with the queens resting their starters, since they're already about to clinch the division. Hopefully they'll still be playing for a bye or something.

Not gonna deny the Bears O-line needs to be revamped, but using the Jets game to prove such probably isn't the best idea. NY had avg 5.6 sacks and 8 hits in their previous three games (avg 32 pass att). They got 2 sacks and 5 hits vs the Bears with a back-up QB on the road..

Most teams drop back way, way, way more than 28 times.

You can use the whole season, including the Jets game.

With the Steelers win tonight they move out of the 3-wins-or-fewer group (Bears, Texans, Broncos and Rams) - meaning if the Bears lose their final 5 games they will be assured of a top-3 pick because the Broncos and Rams play each other so one of those teams will have one more win than the Bears. It's doubtful the Texans can win 2 of their last 6 games so they pretty much have the #1 pick locked up but the 2nd pick is still a possibility for the Bears - they just need to lose out and have both the Rams and Broncos win at least one more game.

Losing Mooney sucks

Hope he is healthy and ready to go next year

Claypool continues to be piss poor and seems to be showing rather clearly why Steelers an organization known for developing WR's moved on from him at this point

Bears overpaid badly for him

What has Claypool done that was piss poor?
This evaluation seems to mirror your evaluation of Fields early in the season.
He’s hardly ever targeted … makes me think we (you) should probably wait until next year when winning is the team’s objective.
If (If) he pans out his value is as a deep threat. We lack the pass protection to throw deep.
