Gulls tie it with the goalie pulled late, then win it in overtime after killing a penalty by stretch passing it to the guy coming out of the box. Ugh.

Easily Merkley's best game on offense, not just saying that because he scored. Some very pretty passes tonight.

Goals from Merkley, True, Blichfeld.

Hat trick for Cooper Marody of the Condors. That guy is unstoppable right now.

Well let’s all hope getting that goal will get Merkley going. Glad to hear he looked good tonight.

Glad true is doing well too, no idea why he isn’t still with the Sharks though.

Barracuda lose 3-2 in OT, gave up the goal after an ugly 3-on-3 defensive breakdown.

Those last two OT goals are really making Korenar's numbers look worse than they should, as he's been great.

edit: Adding video- yeah, Merkley not really covering anyone isn't helping, but both forwards can't chase the same guy off to the side here:

Cuda finally close out Bakersfield, made it stressful anyway. Went up 4-1, Condors scored two quick 3rd period goals, Noesen got called for a really weak slash with a minute to go, but 4-3 is the final.

Goals from Kellman, Viel, Middleton, Blichfeld. 2 assists for Noesen.

Korenar very good again. Gave up 3, but made 37 saves on the night.

Let the Chekhovich redemption tour begin, let's go Ivan.

Playing Henderson tonight, top team in the Pacific. Excellent defense, have allowed fewer than two goals a game this season.

Melnichuk got piled up on a little bit at one point in the second and looked a little shaken. Sawchenko replaces him at the start of the third for his first appearance of the season.

Nollenberger notes Melnichuk is still in the tunnel, so it's probably not that bad.

For anyone interested in Chekhovich's usage, they paired him with Letunov as it shows on the lines there, but they were hardly just extra skaters. They got out there plenty with a rotating RW. Mostly Noesen, but Bergmann was sometimes there too. It got Letunov, who had been ice cold, going a bit too. Chekhovich was on PP2 for the final power play. Wasn't much else to report on him apart from the early assist, but he looks way better so far.

Henderson's very good, but the Cuda outshot them 41-35. 5-2 Henderson final.

Alex True scored the other SJ goal, and he's been under the radar but consistently good down here. He's got a five-game point streak going.

Had the game on in the background (local TV), but sound off, as I had a meeting all day (just finished).

But I'll have a chance to watch the game in full, sound up, on Sunday (also on TV).

Looking at these lines, it’s nice having most every player seeming to have NHL potential. Varying degrees but I could see/would be comfortable with almost every single player on the NHL roster at some point.
