Maple Leaf Scouts: We are really glad to see Reid drop to us in the fourth round. We had him pegged as a second round talent. While there are issues around his size, we feel he has exceptional talent that makes up for it. He's a pure offensive forward and can score in a variety of ways. He was one of the most impressive forward at the recent U-18s.

He's an over-age pick, and he'll be going to Miami next season. We are excited to have him and expect big things from him next year.
