Was this pick out of order? Because on the draft list it says 90th is suppose to be Vancouver, but they selected in the 88th spot (well, before the Caps and Panthers pick).

Yes it was. As long as the Caps and Panthers didn't want to draft Sundstrom then it doesn't matter. I'm not going to make my pick untill 4:30 to allow kesselsnapSHOT, Sabres9 and Hale The Villain to fix this if needed.

Time to update the draft-post?

Just got home after spending around 2 hours in bumper to bumper traffic.

I will update the draft list in a momentarily as well as make my pick. I would also like to apologize for my lack of activity in the last week or so and I promise to be much more active for the rest of the draft.

Ewanyk was pretty high on my list and was hoping he'd fall. Great pick at this position. Luckily, there's also one more guy I hoped would fall, and he did.

With the 92nd overall pick, the Colorado Avalanche are very happy to select Wisconsin commit, from Holy Angels, Joseph LaBate.

PM'ing Toronto.

"From the US National Development Team, forward Reid Boucher"
24 GP: 14 G - 6 A - 20 PTS

Maple Leaf Scouts: We are really glad to see Reid drop to us in the fourth round. We had him pegged as a second round talent. While there are issues around his size, we feel he has exceptional talent that makes up for it. He's a pure offensive forward and can score in a variety of ways. He was one of the most impressive forward at the recent U-18s.

"From the Indiana Ice in the USHL, forward Blake Coleman
59 GP: 34 G - 58 A - 92 PTS

Maple Leaf Scouts: He's a player with the same type of build as a Jerry D'Amigo - he's not tall, but he has a low centre of gravity and is strong on his skates. Has a great character player who can do it all and be counted on by the coaches. He destroyed the USHL this year and took home every major award. He's an over-age pick, and he'll be going to Miami next season. We are excited to have him and expect big things from him next year.
