Are you this butt hurt that people don't like your proposal?

I like Tatar but he's not a big enough upgrade over Brayden Schenn to include a late 1st, I also don't know that Detroit makes that deal either.

I didn't say in was an accurate one just seeing what we could get at wing for throwing Schenn out. I'm sure Detroit fans would see this a little different being Schenn for Tatar straight up isn't even close. But thanks for the respectable second part, I just didn't know if Tatar would be better worth it then an unproven wing we would draft at TB's pick.

The wing/centre talent at 24 is likely to be as good or better than Tatar.

I'd probably take this deal.

I think most people overvalue late 1st round picks. BSchenn can't do **** for this team and I think if that 1st round pick turned out to someone of Tatar's caliber we'd be satisfied.

But...there's NO WAY Detroit would make this deal. Detroit is too smart to be tricked into thinking Schenn will be anything (they don't buy into the junior hockey star hype that other Canadian heavy teams do).

Wasn't a terrible proposal, just a bit too much.

I would do the Schenn brothers for Tatar though. Our Tampa 1st has a lot more value than Luke, who is isn't worth much more than a 3rd or 4th right now.

Eh. I might consider doing Schenn for Tatar straight up but I would not add anything to that deal. I don't know why people undervalue Schenn so much. Why would a guy a year older putting up similar numbers be worth Schenn PLUS a first? Last year Schenn outscored Tatar, albeit in a handful of more games.

You have 12,000 posts I have around 200. It was a hypothetical proposal that I made sitting around while there is NOTHING to look forward to for the rest of the season. Yes it was a bit too much but if anyone thinks we are going to win a cup with Bschenn on the 2nd line centering you are crazy/delusional. He can't go on the 3rd line because Coots is locked there. He can't play wing so what is he good for?. Thats why I made the proposal. Thanks
