LOC stats don't really warrant anything over a mil. His QO was more, but he's earning a guaranteed ~$1 mil over 2 years.

Plus I think he realizes this is his opportunity of having a NHL career instead of a AHL career. We all love LOC, but he wasn't going to get a better offer than this with any other team.

His caphit in 2020/21 will actually be below the league minimum of $750k according to capfriendly (though the contract is unconfirmed). If this is correct then it's another $25k saved against the cap in 2021. It all adds up...

As our current group of forwards signed for next year. Jost, Nuke, and Bura are tentatively the RFAs thst could fill the 3 remaining spots.
