I've never seen such a ****** hockey player be the main topic of discussion amongst a fan base for literally months on end. :laugh:

There's always lots of talk about intangibles. There's lots of great players with just those little things that they do to help win hockey games that are hard to pinpoint. Glass has the bad kind of intangibles. It's hard to pinpoint egregious mistakes, but he does all those little things that help you lose hockey games.

And Fast has the good kind, the kind that generally won't hurt a team. The fact that someone can pinpoint a loss and therefore determine the long-term future of a player based on one tiny play, in a game that featured a ton of errors, is just asinine.

How about Staal blowing the coverage in front on the second goal? How about Hunwick losing his man in the system on the 1st goal? How about Glass turning the puck over instead of getting it out on the 1st goal? How about AV choosing Stempniak over Nash in the shootout? How about Hank doing a face-plant on the Tanguay shootout goal? All those things potentially COST our team the game.

That being said, it doesn't mean any of them (even Glass) should be written off because of them. Players are going to make mistakes, especially rookies. It's understanding what they can become if they are given a chance to be relied upon night in and night out.

Fast is a good, little player. He does the small things right. Last night he had an error, it is what it is and is going to happen when we are watching a game that is incredibly fast paced.

Glass is hurting this team more than anyone. He's hurting this team by blocking other players and he's constantly hurting the team with his on-ice play. He is by and far the weakest link on this team.

We have multiple options playing in the AHL right now that are significantly better than him.

But AV will not take Glass out because of the things he does right like kill penalties and provide energy with his hits and "fighting " lol so there for its between Fast and Duke and fast has no where near Duked talent so let's get Fast out.

AV's fast wearing out his welcome with his abysmal lineups and decision-making. What other coaches are available?

Glass loses so many little puck battles. And his inability to simply get the puck in deep is just sickening at times. HE CANT EVEN GET THE PUCK DEEP ON A CONSISTENT BASIS. I just do not understand people who defend this guy. Literally every statistic available paints this guy in a porous light, and yet, there are still people at his defense, INCLUDING our ****ing coach. It's truly unbelievable
