GDT: Avs @ Devils Part 2

Avs are not this good. Devs took too many penalties. Need to regroup.

Well they were much better than us 5 on 5. Actually special teams kept us in the game, almost won it for us.

They were much more physical and aggressive than us from the start to the end. Better team tonight though we did hang in.

If Zajac is out for any length of time, Zacha really needs to step up and fill the void.

I don’t have much faith in Zacha, when it comes to offense. As we go father into the season his play gets worse.

The disappointing thing is that as bad as it was they still should have gotten a point. Just a bizarre sequence when Noesen took out Greene leading to the go-ahead Av goal.

They were lucky to be tied to that point and did not deserve a point at all.

It's time Zacha and Johansson start doing something. They have a combined 1 point this season.

They should get a mulligan for playing with Stafford though, who has nothing left in the tank.

Zajac's line was getting destroyed by them before he went down. They weren't going to do **** against that line tonight, especially with how horrible Noesen has been recently.

Dumb move by Hynes matching that line against MacKinnons line isntead of matching fire power wth fire power. And it's absolutely pathetic the first line saw one single shift in 7 minutes.

Nico doesn’t seem ready to me to matchup that way.

He does not

And both he and Johansson need to get it going.

They get a slight mulligan for having to play with Stafford and maybe even Quenneville, who might not be good enough. But not for long. It’s time to shut up and score something. Next game will be game 6. I expect a point or two from them soon, or they’ll deserve the heat.

Being on the PK for half the game tires players out, and throws your flow out of sync.

I do agree that the line matching was a f***ing disaster, from the start.

Rantanen and Landeskog are smooth but don’t strike me as particularly fast. Avs played well. Credit to them.

I think keith could have had the last goal but he's still +6-7 on highly unstoppable saves vs. highly saveable goals.

honestly, without a world class goalie performance, this team gets blown out this game. Cory of the past two seasons allows a deflating goal early on. the only reason they were in it was because of the timely momentum saving saves.

Lovejoy, Greene, and Vatanen were seriousy some of the worst players on the ice, and Noesen needs to sit.

And Hynes seriously made one of the most boneheaded moves possible. Why you would **** with a line up in the middle of a win streak?
