I still want to know what happened when both Johansen and Duchene just went insane for Nashville in 2021-22. IIRC Johansen was just one point shy of his career high while Duchene completely blew the doors off his previous bests.

Playoffs fit him better. He has size and as we know, refs don't call anything in the playoffs. He can take the rough game, he has the body for it.

Yeah I’m skeptical as well. Only notable thing he did in 2022 postseason against the Avs was poke Kuemper in the eye.

To be fair, the Avs were a runaway freight train in 2022, nothing was going to stand in their way. The only players that did any damage in that series were notorious Avs killers Matt Duchene and Yakov Trenin. Josi and Forsberg went out that year with a whimper, too.

I think we could all avoid injury on an NHL rink because we wouldn't ever be anywhere near anything that could injure us.
