Annunen was great this game. He deserved better. The Avs were horrible from top to bottom for most of this game. If not for Annunen this game ends in regulation quite easily.

I think you're just remembering it wrong. The cup team was bad 3 on 3 as well. MacKinnon/Rantanen has been bad at 3 on 3 for as long as I remember.

That's correct. MacKinnon has always been too aggressive in OT which leads to puck possession losses and goals against. Rants just makes bad decisions all the time.

Rantanen can't make a play to save his life and MacKinnon's one timer sucks. The PP is so easy to defend now that the tip isn't there anymore with Nuke out.

This roster has too many holes to patch up to be a cup contender. No 2C, bad goaltending, lack of depth scoring. Just too many holes on the roster that CMac wont address.
