Quotes per AG:

Ginger Ninja on where the game was lost:

“I think it probably was more the penalties and going to the box,†goalie Cory Schneider said. “Having to kill an extended five-on-three and two others. All of a sudden the shot totals get a little skewed and we’re not able to get guys into the game and not get them into a rhythm if they don’t kill penalties.â€

Cammy on Chewie's Dominance:

“He’s a special player,†Cammalleri said. “The thing that stands out the most that we had to do a better job of is his ability to pull the puck on the blue line and get shots through accurately. He’s very good, very effective. We couldn’t let him do that tonight and we did and it cost us the game. He has a long reach and ability to pull the puck and get the shot through.â€

Please, for the love of god, WIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha. Spidey will be right back in the hospital after witnessing too much Kalinin play and he might find himself in a coffin this time!:sarcasm:

Do you think we have a chance to collectively as a group, give ourselves the chance to win this game?

Nice job on the game thread.

Stubhub is the way to go tonight, all of those $10 tix:amazed:
I figured tickets should be higher, with the chance to see a potentially historic and legendary Avalanche team tonight. It's not every year that you get the chance to see a team with the potential to finish with the fewest amount of points since an expansion team 17 years ago. They could be the worst team in the post 04-05/shootout/loser points galore era. That's like as rare as some eclipses or comet appearances.

Lame pun, ahoy!

It's a good one! I'm embarrassed to admit that I had to read it three times to understand the pun, even though I used "Ka-linin out his locker" just yesterday.

I'm a little slow, due to sleep depravation and too many caffeinated beverages last night.

Looks like Merrill is back in tonight.

Now can we break up Greene and Lovejoy and put Severson back with Greene again? Or is that too much to ask?

I decided last minute to get tickets because they're so cheap and because I don't think this team can outsuck Colorado no matter how poor an effort they turn in. Don't make me regret my $24 spent Devils.

What's up with Erik Johnson, IR?

Not being negative but, COL has way more skill and goal scoring ability than us.

And that's not including guys who always seem to score vs us, Mitchell and Comeau.

Was hoping to see Gelly tonight.
