RT was trying to save his job, a worn our Kuemper was better than any back up until it caught up with him. Colorado will have the luxury of not over working him to try and make the playoffs.

Soderstrom look arguably ready in his handful of games last year. Obviously that doesn't mean much with 82 games but he has the raw talent and seemingly the IQ to here now. I'd like him to dominate the AHL to get more mass and confidence. He is very close though.
No even close. RT is respected around the league as a player, and I guess in some circles coaching. He has a good personality and character. Stepan has none of that.
Also, take a moment and reflect that we LOST a 1st. for Stepan.
