Not directly to your point but these guys are getting smaller and smaller.

Krug, Marchand, and Grizz really aren't that undersized anymore and all are short guys I remember at first glance thinking how small all were when they broke in but I sat in good seats Tuesday and none of them any longer stick out as being small. Part of that is they've added muscle mass and hit the gym but its mostly due to the guys around them not being large dudes. In the 80s or 90s they'd stick out like sore thumbs for being tiny.

It is what it is. I always enjoyed watching quick smaller players. I just think with the average size of an NHLer shrinking rapidly there can be no excuse for soft play from a guy like Donato once hes had a year in the league. Especially in the playoffs.
