It is a beautiful City. And really close to Mountains.I've never been there, but Calgary looks like a beautiful city.

I agree. I'm not likely to tune in.What's the overall feeling toward the upcoming WJCs?
For me, between:
1. the August timeslot
2. the removal of Russia (from a truly "best on best" perspective)
3. the scaping of the results from the first iteration
4. the scandal surrounding Hockey Canada
I couldn't really care less about this tournament. Better things to do in August.

That's what we do in AZ all year round.Hockey in August is asking Canadians to come indoors during the day while at their cottage. No one is going to trade sunshine, drinking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, whatever, to sit on the couch.
Hell I'd watch NFL practice if they'd televise it. I love the NFL! I even watch the draft.Yes, we know it's backwards in Arizona. No one wants to be here in July and August, and there's nothing worth watching sports-wise except English soccer in Aug. unless you can handle baseball (or, ugh, preseason NFL).
“I mentioned that at the end of the year that no one is really holding us accountable,” Pacioretty explained. “If we have a bad year like this, the city would be half on fire in Montreal. Here in Vegas, it’s 80 degrees, and it’s sunny. We’re getting our car washed and getting our organic food, and going to play golf.
