3-1 Preds and people are afraid of the Avs who lost their last 2 games.
So far the Preds are 2-0 vs Avs and have outscored them 12-5 in 2 and 1/3 games.

Hockey will always be low on the watch list for Americans , i think the pace of play is too fast, remember the glowing pucks .
This is funny. I just listened to a popular Podcast whereby both Hosts said this exact thing. Too fast. They want the tracer back.

So what else is new?

NHL insider Frank Seravalli has recently reported that forward Evander Kane’s act in Edmonton is wearing thin. Kane, who has drawn the wrath of teammates in the past and found himself off several teams, is reportedly wearing out his welcome as he is struggling this season.

The microscope landed on him this past weekend when he was said to be missing Sunday’s game vs. the Ottawa Senators due to a maintenance day, though no one knows if it was a physical or mental one.

According to Adam Proteau of the Hockey News, there is a sense that the Oilers will approach Kane with a trade opportunity this summer despite his contract clause:

“Kane’s contract, worth $5.125 million annually, has two years remaining after this season. While he has a full no-trade clause until the last season of the current deal ( according to PuckPedia ), Edmonton brass may quietly approach Kane this coming summer to see if it makes sense for both sides to move him to another team.”

Funny how Kane was ok on a league minimum contract and as soon as he resigns to a contract making over 5 million a season now there is a problem, AGAIN.
