So its either Edmonton or Dallas? Probably worst case scenario. Those two teams in particular had their way the Kings this year multiple times.
Id take Dallas though of the two. A little closer travel and not international. They may be able to bend but not break against Dallas whos high end players arent McDavid and Draisaitl.

Either this team is "built for the playoffs" or they aren't and Blake is likely toast. You can't blame anything more on matchups or, more importantly, injuries. The team Blake supposedly envisioned will be taking the ice for game 1 and we will all find out soon enough.

It was an idea. I didn't say it was a good idea.

It is either Edmonton or Dallas because Dallas just went into OT, earning a point. Canucks cannot catch them.

Carter doesnt get enough credit for the incredible hockey talent he is. They talk about 5 tool players and carter has about 8. I marvel at the the guys skating and defensive ability to go along with everything else. Certainly a blessed player and human being.

The Kings didn’t score more than one goal in a game against Dallas this season and got slaughtered and manhandled in every game against them.

Not that this Kings team is built to win in the playoffs, but they’d probably stand a better chance against the Oilers and their crappy goaltending. Then again, the Kings will make Skinner look exceptional.

Vegas isn't going to lose to Anaheim at home tomorrow.

It pretty much looks like we're playing Dallas in round 1.

So the knights can’t get a single point tomorrow and the Kings have to absolutely win tomorrow to play the oilers ?

It's a terrible night for their fans, they didn't deserve this.
In the grand scheme of things, I guess getting emotionally attached to a sports team is kind of silly. But truthfully I would be pretty crushed if we lost the Kings.

There's a lot of memories attached to your local sports team; especially when you've grown up watching them.

And I'm sure there's Coyotes fans who feel cheated for all the money and time they've put into them.

The salt in the wound is that this team is actually going to be good very soon. Especially now that they have a real owner.

Kings hold the tiebreaker. Vegas can get a point and the Kings are in if they win. A Vegas win or a Kings Loss in regulation and none of this matters. lol

Once in a while Amadio would flash some skill here. His problem was that he had Dubois Syndrome.
Some nights he looked like he didnt want to be out there playing. Also he was probably a goal scorer his whole life and the Kings said if you want to make it in this league you have to grind on the 4th line.
Or maybe what he learned here gave him the foundation to develop and stick elsewhere. There’s no absolute right/wrong path for a player, it sometimes takes time. Every team in the league has players leave and blossom elsewhere.

Perhaps it took a while for the penny to drop for Amadio. It’s a stretch to say his slow emergence was down to the Kings given we aren’t the only side he didn’t succeed with.

Quit using facts and reason, just because Amadio did dick in Toronto and Ottawa, that doesn't mean LA didn't absolutely blow goats for bus fare with his development....

Carter said in his farewell interview that he's staying in Pittsburgh and likely will find a job within the Pens org.

Sad; I would've liked him to have found a spot in LA doing something.

Not allowed though, everyone knows LA is the only team that hires former players
