Klingberg, arguably the 2nd best offensive d-man in the league, lost it to Aaron f***ing Ekblad. EP40 is definitely going to win it, it's a popularity contest.

This year so far ? No neccessarily the case . Usually beaten the teams we're supposed to beat. Had less complete stinkers compared the last seasons

What really sucks is they all will have such a good shot at it too. At the very least one of them likely moves up into the top 3. I wonder if St. Louis lottery protected their 2019 1st that they gave to Buffalo

McDavid has a little something to do with that as well. Chiasson is basically doing what Ty Rattie did in the preseason with McDavid. He's the perfect player for it too. Just go to the net and let McDavid do his thing

Oh no doubt McD has something to do with it, but it's still pretty sad to look at the raw number and see our goal scorer with 8.
