Here are the voting results for the Norris:
Hedman of Lightning wins Norris Trophy as best defenseman

Pts. (1st-2nd-3rd-4th-5th)
1. Victor Hedman, TBL 1385 (94-57-6-5-1)
2. Drew Doughty, LAK 1164 (52-68-28-8-4)
3. P.K. Subban, NSH 565 (11-14-50-30-17)
4. Seth Jones, CBJ 406 (2-9-38-33-34)
5. John Carlson, WSH 311 (3-6-19-38-30)
6. John Klingberg, DAL 160 (1-7-4-18-27)
7. Roman Josi, NSH 86 (0-0-6-12-20)
8. Brent Burns, SJS 48 (1-1-3-3-7)
9. Alex Pietrangelo, STL 35 (0-0-3-4-8)
10. Shayne Gostisbehere, PHI 31 (0-0-4-2-5)

When Subban is 3rd, it really puts into perspective the yahoos that are voting for this stuff. I mean, he's a fine defenseman and all, but...

Bet Kopitar doesn't win if Bergeron was healthy all season.

The hell is up with Quick and Campbell with that towel?

Kopitar looks like he lost weight too...
The fact he missed so much time, tho, and Kopi's nearly equal level of play, it was a no brainer, but I was scared. Bergeron is the golden boy for the league. Deservedly, he's amazing. Still, this was Kopitar's. And even when Bergeron went down, the race was closer than Kopitar was being given credit for, imo. Still, you're right, East Coast probably votes Selke for Patrice if he plays the whole season, he was tearing it up, too. Hs advanced stats were ridiculous at one point.

Playing with Marchand and Pastrnak he probably would've been around 85-90 points if he had played the whole season too.

And before the season even starts everyone always says it's his award to lose. Not even playing a single game and people already penciling him in. Ridiculous.

Selke winning defense and 92 points seems pretty damn valuable to me. Doughty got beat because too many people didn't have him in their top two, which is ridiculous

Burns and Klingberg each got a 1st. No homer vote there. This years voting reaks of east coast bias.

I don't have issue with the MVP having to be from a playoff team, but I am happy the Lindsay award is there in the chance that the best player in the NHL happens to be on a terrible team.

Connor McDavid is the best player in the world, and he deserved to take something home, can't blame him that he plays for a team managed by Peter Chiarelli.

Welp, Doughty was robbed but other than that it's pretty much what I expected.

Quick leaving with the Jennings and Kopitar with the Selke.

The Hart is a joke this year.Kopi is the only player nominated for the Hart that logs in more PK time than any of those nominated and still was able to get 92 points.

Hall had a fantastic season, it would have been nice to see Kopitar win it, he may never have another season like this and I think it will take a lot for Hall or Mac to surpass his career accomplishments, but a case could be made for any of the guys.

The sweetest thing is knowing the Oilers traded an MVP winger for a #2 defenseman (and even that may be generous). Easily one of the worst trades in the NHL in recent memory. Could you imagine McDavid/Hall/Draisaitl trio.

Unfortunately there's no case,Kopi logged in PK minutes and those others do not.Kopi was the clear winner.
