Over the past couple years, the Oilers have managed exorcise a lot of their plaguing demons - an inability to beat rookie/unknown goalies, win games against teams below them in the standings, win afternoon games, win HNIC games and a few others, I'm sure.
One they haven't managed to get past is their almost clockwork inability to show up on time for a game after a stretch of days off, especially when it's compounded by a winning streak. I'm really hoping that this is where the value of bringing in a Duncan Keith can continue to pay dividends for us.

Some creep recorded McDavid, Draisaitl, and Nurse at a Vegas club this weekend and tweeted it out. Don't do that shit, people.
Kinda feeling emotional about this game TBH. My last time seeing a live game in Edmonton was on October 16, 2019 when the Flyers were last at Rogers. That was the game where Connor scored this insane goal and had a 5-point night - including an assist on Manning's goal. 
Went to the game with a childhood friend. Cheered ourselves hoarse and made memories.
Less than one week later, I moved to a new job in the US and have not been able to visit Edmonton since. I'm sure thankful that I got to see this particular game in person before everything went down the gutter.
