Are we sleeping on the Minnesota Wild?

I have never been a Minnesota fan, but that Calder trophy 100+ point getter likely to get his second 100+ point total in his 4th year... Kirill Kaprizov... needs his flowers....

A small market team with little hype but winning ... could be a surprise conference finalist. ... we just never hear about this team. I watch games 3-4 times a week and somehow never saw a Wild game this season.

I mean if there was four wildcard teams in each conference you may have a very slightly valid point

I will bet you they won't make the playoffs this season. I will give you the best odds you've ever seen.

Let me know if you're interested.

When they get $15M of the cap cpace, young stud goalie prospect, young stud center prospect, resign their superstar and sign some good FAs, then making playoffs won't be a problem.

So 2 maybes that’ll take years to mature, overpaying UFAs, and praying Kaprizov doesn’t walk before this happens. Just to make the playoffs.

Good thing they’re a smaller market. Has any other team been so consistently mediocre for so long while avoiding criticism?

I mean Calgary is pretty similar both in lengthy mediocrity and attention given to it

at least in the US no idea how much criticism Calgary gets in Canada
