Strange seeing so many people getting frustrated / angry in this thread about Booth.

It was a low-risk / high-reward possibility type of move, similar to what Mason Raymond was last year.

And it didn't work out. So what? They didn't pay him much, and he isn't signed for long term.

These are the sorts of moves Leafs management need to be trying more of, rather than constantly going for high-risk / low-reward types that have hurt this team over the past few years.

People spend so much time getting mad at the small insignificant things.
Hello core. Goodbye core. There's your problem.

Yup, "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff.."

Leafs biggest mistake was to think they could swap out the depth players like Booth and it would make the core players better.

only call up a one of the plugs from the Marlies if there's an injury.we're not making the playoffs anyway.keep the prospects away from this team for now.

I think they would be better off icing the 1/3 of the Marlies tbh.

You are right.

In this town, everything gets hyper-analyzed including the depth players. It's kind of ridiculous.

It's also ridiculous that David Booth has somehow given many people here the Blue-and-White disease.
