If you don't mind me asking? How much on average do these jerseys cost? I can't imagine they're cheap, but I also can't imagine they're as expensive compared to the scorers/goalies.

Price is variable based on the player, age of jersey as well as how scarce it is, wear, customizations, etc., but enforcer jerseys can cost as much and in some cases more than scorers or goalies, really depends on the player and how badly a given collector wants a given shirt. No goon gamer is going to cost what a Bobby Orr or Gretzky might cost, but more popular 80's/90's enforcers are ballpark to what scorers/goalies from that same era run these days.

I've seen numerous posts of your collection on the boards and it's flat out amazing, provides an extreme sense of jealousy, and makes a wannabe collector like me go out and grab a whack of jerseys.

I'm curious -- what's the end game for you? Is this something you will reach a pinnacle on and then liquidate everything, or is this something you'll be doing and holding on to forever? I want to eventually build one of those man caves chock full of jerseys all around, but you could build a museum.

Thanks - really have no idea what the future will hold, but not planning to exit the hobby anytime soon. About out of room in my basement for sticks/gloves/helmets at this point, so pretty much exclusively jerseys these days. Have a few goals I still want to achieve - after that, who knows?

That's a crazy collection! I am not a jersey collector, but was a big card collector back in the O Pee Chee days (before they were resurrected) - have most complete sets, and lots of singles from basically 1978-whenever they ceases production, plus the the first few years of Upper Deck. Card collecting now isn't the same, market is flooded, and plus I have other expenses to deal with.

As for enforcers - I think the only jersey I own, is a replica Cam Janssen Windsor jersey from probably 2003. Great guy, parents are awesome too.
