I really liked Vermette from his Ottawa and Phoenix days. But he's been just filling a sweater for two years in Anaheim. No reason for anyone to sign him at this point. Theres better players that will hit waivers.

I'm not even joking when I say I was more confident with Vermette receiving a pass off of his skate rather than his stick. Everything just blew up when it came to him. As others have said, his faceoff ability is his only redeeming quality.
