I guess CBC is too busy holding Leaf nutsack to broadcast the game?

I believe afternoon games are considered regional games. CBC and Sportsnet only broadcast the national games like on HNIC or Hometown Hockey on Sundays. I think the only afternoon game considered as a national broadcast are the Hockey Day in Canada games.

It's the same on the French side. TVA Sports only has the national broadcast rights to the Habs (+ playoffs). And the national rights only broadcast the prime time games on Saturdays.

If the game falls outside of the national broadcast rights hours, it is considered a regional game. Which is why every year, on Super Bowl weekend, when the Habs play their usual back-to-back afternoon games on Saturday and Sunday, it is always on RDS and TSN and not on TVA Sports or CBC/Sportsnet.

Armia might actually play. Apparently, he practiced today. Thought maybe Wednesday's game vs Toronto. He'll be a welcome addition.

If we have the cap space to do it, I'd keep Perry in on the 4th line. His size and puck control would be a help to Lehkonen and Evans. He's also still a good PP specialist. Armia can take Byron's role on pk. Byron hasn't done anything this year.

Apparently, Romanov is cut, but not seriously. He should play.

Yes he took a puck to the face in practice today from a Drouin shot.

Montreal Canadiens D Alexander Romanov will play Saturday after taking puck to the face in practice - TSN.ca

No excuse to bag again like yesterday...if getting beaten by a team that probably would have a hard time making the AHL playoffs doesn't light a fire under some arses, nothing will...Clod needs to fire these kids up!!...

Since this isn't a nationally televised game at least I'll get to see it on TSN5 which is the Sens regional channel. I think I see more Bruins games on Sportsnet during a season than I do Habs games here in Canada since I don't have TSN2 which is the Habs regional broadcast channel or RDS.

I have no idea why I pay for so many useless TSN and Sportsnet channels when all regional games outside of my region are blacked out on them.

You have to go back to Price. You know Price will be treating this like the Olympic final. No roster changes are needed. The team needs to atone for that stinker of a game.

Why do we cater to Price so much? Anyway, the best thing is to have a well rested Price for the playoffs no?

I'd play the shit out of Allen, wait for him to falter then go back to Price. Allen has top 10 numbers in the NHL btw.

Again, the best thing about having a high scoring, sound defensive team with a solid backup is, it's that there is no shadows where Price can hide in. No mo' excuses.

Maybe cuz he's been the entire backbone of this team for a decade, including in last year's Playoffs...

I think going with Price again is the right move.

It's a bit of a risk if he has a bad night, but at least he has a chance at redemption and maybe that can kick off a hot streak.

He allowed 3 goals last game and is 4-1-2. People are acting like he just had the worst game of his career and is sinking this team. Seriously this board is ridiculous. We have multiple days off after tomorrow. He hasn’t started more then 2 games in a row yet this season. Why on earth would they start Allen? That would be sending a message they don’t trust him which is the complete opposite of what they should be doing right now.
