Man, it's gotta suck to be on the non-plus side of one of these sort of fringe/depth deals.

Like...being a fringe depth defenceman, and getting swapped for another fringe depth defenceman...BUT that wasn't enough. Needed some random late draft pick to balance how much worse you are than the other fringe defenceman.

At this point Holzer can be a 6 or 7 Dman Irwin can not. And the pick well you have a better chance of being hit by a bus than to land a useful player that far down.
