Sounds like Heinen is Ritchie minus the physicality (a drawback) and the stupid penalties (a minus).

Sounds like a low risk, medium reward trade for both teams with a little more certainty for Boston. Ritchie will hopefully not get as many phantom/borderline calls against (though Bruins seem to not get the same treatment as other O6 teams) and hopefully Heinen regains the confidence/ability of his rookie year. Hope Kase gets a Cup (next year since we have your pick this year )

That's not how it works. Usually you need to actually score the amount of points per year to be labeled a "X" point player.

1st season = 47 points
2nd season = 34 points (36 point pace full 82)
3rd season = 22 points (OPF 29 = 31 points full 82)

How is this a 40 point player?

This is the peak of the mountain for pedantry. Bravo. There is no "how it works" when you're talking about subjective labels. I originally said he was a 40 point player his first two years before falling apart this year. He had 81 points those 2 seasons and one of them he had 47 points. The nit you're picking is not worth any effort on your part.

It took 2 games for Ritchie just to be on a PPG pace, Heinen came right out of the gate with it.
