Amalie Arena name - Hate it? Tolerate it?

Because I don't actually live in Tampa Bay, and therefore have never been to the arena, all I can think about is how it's good that there's more money at the team's disposal (and I mean more than just the actual on-ice product) than just whatever's in Jeff Vinik's bank account.

If you lived in Tampa Bay I would hope you have a boat or else you will be very wet! LOL!

I can't say I even dislike it enough to tolerate it. I like it at about a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale. Like it but not nearly enough to love it.

I'm ok with it because to me Amalie Arena sounds like a place that would be home of the Lightning. It is better to me that it sounds like a family name rather than a corporate sponsor.


Plus there's nothing stopping us from still calling it the Thunderdome even though it isn't a dome.
