The Hamilton Tigers are proud to select their 6th pick................one of the key NHLers who first atempted to organize a Player's Union.........winner of the 1950 Art Ross trophy.....8-times selected to the first Allstar team and once to the second.......winner of 4-Stanley Cups with Detroit........from Renfrew Ontario.........."Terrible":

TED LINDSAY

Ted Lindsay will be the Captain of our Hamilton Tigers.........Henri Richard the first assistant and Joe Sakic the second.

Lindsey was taken with pick 51, you'll need to make a different selection.

Time for a reminder. How to search for players taken. :teach:

1. Go to first page of thread, where every pick is listed.
2. At top of page, press ctr-f.
3. Type in players last name in window. If found pick another player.
4. If not found check with players first name, just in case of spelling errors. Search backwards as well. If not found should be ok to select player.

Tips on making your draft picks on time

if you are at the end of a draft and you make your selection odds are within 12 hrs it is going to be your pick again........please make note

.........so the draft goes smoothly and quickly

IMO no pick should take more then 8 hrs

check the draft at bed time
and again when you awake
and at dinner
and after work or school

Thanks

Sorry about the delay, wasn't home at all last night. I'll take, Johnny Bucyck. Give us a good other forward line. We'll be thin on defense, but none the less, we will be able to score.

Who cares? We have a 24 hour window, some of us are busy and need all of those hours.

whatever bud

I dont like having to wait a full 24 hrs

I dont mind letting people know either :D

but if i know ur up I wont bother checking the draft so often.

u should start your own draft for terribly busy people :joker:

I'm in college it is finals time I still get a few minute break here n there!

Find a hobby then, some of us have lives and can't be online 24/7.

Exactly.

Then leave the draft, or deal with it like the rest of us do.

I dont mind letting people know either :D

Same here.

but if i know ur up I wont bother checking the draft so often.

Good, because I don't need you to PM me that I am up when Evil Sather and Maxwell Edison (whichever went before me) are doing a spectacular job of letting me know I am up.

u should start your own draft for terribly busy people :joker:

Most of us are busy. We have work and things to do.

Good for you. Me, I was enjoying a great weekend with great weather. Going on the internet on a Sunday when it's 87 degrees out isn't at the top of my list, or many others'. Everyone else here is content to wait their turn. Evil Sather had to wait a while for me to pick so that he could go, but he knows that next time around I might be in his shoes. Everyone here understands that principle.

Durham select Igor Larionov as centre. I feel this gives a huge amount of depth at that position.

Good day to one and all............

Just an idea that popped into my wee little head...............maybe after we finish drafting players for our 23-man roster (13-forwards, 7-defencemen and 3-Goalies) we should continue with the draft and select players for a second 23-man roster team.......the second team we draft will be our 'farm team'......this should make the draft here more challenging and would be interesting to see which players end up being drafted for our second 23-man roster team...........what do all you guys (and gals) think???

Cheers!~
