Felix lost in straight sets to Karlovic. Onto the AO qualifying next! Unless a handful of players withdraw...

Andreescu won her first round match and should hit a new career high ranking. Probably getting Wozniacki in the second round.

Raonic and Bouchard off today.

I think I read there are 4 players ahead of him after the Delpo withdrawal.

Pospisil withdrew from the Aussie Open after injuring his back in October.

Damn, that sucks.

But in good news, Andreescu has pulled off another upset in a 3 set win over Venus! She's up to #114 in the live rankings! I really thought she'd have a letdown after yesterday. Tough match in the SF against Hsieh.

Bouchard and Raonic both lost their QF.

Well Bianca did it again! Into the final with a pretty straight forward win.

She be in AO qualifying next week, but not sure how much she'll have left in the tank.

That's a shame. I hope she wins tonight but a lot of time with these runs, once they get in the final reality hits. Hope to be very wrong about this!

Yeah it's a tough final agains Goerges, who is the defending champ I believe.

Either way, great week for Bianca. Hopefully she can stay healthy going forward.

She did lose in 3 sets, so she didn't go down easily. She was close.

Now a couple days off and AO qualifying.

Bouchard did win the doubles title

Middle of nowhere
Never thought he'd be the first to retire of the 4, but never thought he'd be the last either. The next one I think is Nadal. Fed can't be too far behind. Djoker can go for years I think.
